It is with great excitement to announce that The Community Grocer will be breaking ground on our first location at the end of this month! This momentous occasion is just the first milestone of many to come, and we couldn’t have made it here without your support. Together, we are reinventing the corner store into a holistic and community-led approach to fresh, delicious, and EBT-eligible meal solutions.

Community Connections
With the support of employers, organizations, and local officials, TCG co-hosted a job and resource fair while handing out delicious samples of our smoothies from our future menu!
We participated at the Community Unity Day at Sayers Methodist with some incredible organizations to give back to our community and meet our incredible neighbors!
TCG & RAC2 took 50 youth from Philadelphia to the beach for a day of fun, games, and teamwork!
We helped Sharing Excess and The Print Foundation at their weekly food distribution event at the West Philadelphia Boys & Girls Club.
Community Support
It was an honor to speak with Madame Speaker Joanna McClinton and discuss ways we can work together to support our communities. Speaker McClinton is the 143rd Speaker in the PA House of Representatives, and the first woman and woman of color to serve as Speaker. She’s also participating in our Community Voices & Cookbook series along with our incredible Councilwoman Jamie Gauthier!

Building Updates

Located on the corner of 60th + Walton, we will be reimagining the space to become the best retail access point of nutrition in the country. See the renderings below!
