  • The marketing & communications intern will support the communications team in creating content for various platforms, conducting outreach with Philadelphia community members, and be an advocate for food systems change. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, experience using social media, video-editing skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ideal for students pursuing degrees in communications, marketing, or related fields but not required.

    🏹 Responsibilities

    Create content for various communication channels, such as social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook,...).

    Monitor and respond to online conversations in a timely manner.

    Work alongside TCG's documentary crew to film TCG's journey.

    Assist in organizing and coordinating events, such as community fairs, block parties, community board meetings, and other outreach activities.

    Write and send out monthly TCG newsletters.

    Write short blogs tracing TCG's journey and advocate for food justice in Philadelphia and beyond.

    Conduct a mix of in-person and online community outreach to ensure our neighbors always know what we are up to (via phone calls, email, door-to-door, etc.)

    🎯 Qualifications

    Experience using social media in professional capacities.

    Experience with video production and editing.

    Demonstrated strong writing skills.

    Attention to detail.

    A flexible and proactive attitude and good time management skills.

  • The role of the Fundraising, Policy, & Advocacy Intern will be multifaceted. It will involve writing and applying for grants, event-planning, identifying new revenue streams, maintaining data input, conducting research, strategic policy planning, and outreach for advocacy initiatives. Strong writing and research skills are essential, as you will be responsible for drafting op-eds and other advocacy materials alongside other interns. This role may include potential trips to DC, Harrisburg, and other locations. Applicants must be able to write op-eds, grants, conduct research, and provide a writing sample. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful policy change and gain valuable experience in fundraising, advocacy, and policy work.

  • The Finance, Analytics, & Operations Intern involves overseeing the budget, creating a sustainable supply chain, and providing oversight of operations. Strong Excel, research, and financial skills are a must. You will be able to work alongside communications, brand, outreach, and other teams to understand the nature of their projects and be the point person for budget-related inquiries and needs.

  • The Community Relations Intern will develop community engagement strategies, planning and coordinating community events such as TCG cookouts, and conducting door-to-door neighbor intake interviews to understand community needs.   • The Product Design and Brand Development Intern helps shape the organization's brand identity.
